Wendy's Web Page Reviews

be-healthy.net

Be-healthy.net is a website that has a bunch of different medical topics on it. This website has articles written by Joe Miller who writes informative medical articles and online advertisements. This tells me that the source is slightly jaded in that it will be loaded with advertisements.

This short article on sinus infections is informative with regard to the symptoms of a sinus infection. It informs the reader what symptoms are associated with a sinus infection and what to do for them. It has a multitude of different links associated with sinus infections unfortunately all of the links are links to different products.

I would rate this website as interesting but lacking in information. It is only a one page article whereas sinus infections are much broader than that. Not to mention that the only treatment that is noted in the article is nasal sprays and they have to be purchased. From my own experience with sinus infections I know that there are a multitude of home remedies to prevent a sinus infection.

healthlink.mcw.edu

This website is sponsored by the Medical College of Wisconsin. The articles are written using information from professional medical journals and institutes. There are other articles and links on this topic and a multitude of others.

The article that I read regarding sinus infections was well written and very informative, especially for people not in the medical field. It lists symptoms, causes, diagnosis, treatment, and preventative techniques. I found it to be very informative even for a person who has been diagnosed as having chronic sinusitis. Despite my extended personal experience with this problem I was still able to learn a few things.

Another article on this site is called the facts about sinusitis and is located at the following link, http://healthlink.mcw.edu/article/1031002454.html. This article tells us, in addition to the symptoms, causes, diagnosis, treatment, and preventative techniques, about research with regard to this subject.

This website has other articles related to this topic and even one on when to call a doctor. I would rate this website as an excellent source of information. This site lacks the advertisement links that the other on had which to me makes it a very informative and beneficial site.
